From April 4 to 6, local vehicles in Beijing will not be subject to the peak-hour traffic restrictions that apply to certain regions during weekdays.

Non-local passenger cars entering Beijing with valid entry passes (for driving within the 6th Ring Road) will not be subject to the traffic restrictions which forbid them from driving on the 5th Ring Road and the roads within from 7:00 to 9:00 and 17:00 to 20:00, or the regional traffic restrictions based on the last digits of license plate numbers from 9:00 to 17:00. However, drivers of non-local passenger cars must comply with the regulations prohibiting driving on the 2nd Ring Road and the roads within, Jianguomen Outer Street, Fuxingmen Outer Street, and Fuxing Road (the section from Muxidi Bridge to Xinxing Bridge) throughout the day.

Additionally, the same rules will be applied on April 27 and from May 1 to 5. Please plan your travel in advance.
