The 15-Minute Community Service Circle enhances daily convenience for residents by ensuring that essential services are easily accessible. This is reflected in the abundance  of large and medium-sized public service outlets and commercial facilities, including breakfast shops, shoe repair stalls, key cutting services and other daily repair service stalls. There are also restaurants, supermarkets, coffee shops, along with "pocket parks" and cultural squares.

Beijing Satellite Manufacturing Factory Science Park has emerged as a key component of the 15-Minute Community Service Circle in Zhongguancun Eastern Zone, offering a comprehensive array of  services such as specialty foods, cultural experiences, and leisure and entertainment options.

The living community of Zhongguancun Eastern Zone comprises the neighborhoods of Kechun, Keyu and Huangzhuang, serving a permanent population of over 20,000 people. Over the past three years, the sub-district has added 15 convenient service outlets and new fruit and vegetable markets covering 2,000 square meters, significantly enhancing residents' convenience. Additionally, sub-district offices have partnered with local businesses to launch the digital life platform "Zhongguancun E Quarter Hour Life Circle", allowing residents to access life’s conveniences at their fingertips through the two application scenarios of "15-Minute Electronic Map" and "Enjoy Zhongguancun".

In 2022, Beijing issued the Measures for Accelerating the Construction of 15-Minute Community Service Circles and Promoting the Transformation and Upgrading of the Life Service Industry, taking the lead in the country in setting the goal of achieving full coverage of convenient life circles across the city by 2025. At present, Beijing has built 501 15-Minute Community Service Circles, covering over 2,280 communities and serving more than 9.9 million residents, with more than 68,000 service outlets available. By next year, Beijing is on track to achieve comprehensive coverage of these convenient life circles citywide.
