The Integrated Transportation Hub of the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center Railway Station is scheduled to commence operations later this year, having recently passed its static testing.

The underground section of the Hub covers a total of 1.28 million square meters across three levels: B3 houses the intercity railway platform, with eight sub-platforms and 14 tracks; B2 serves as the waiting hall for the intercity railway passengers and is designed primarily to facilitate transfers between different modes of transportation; and B1, while serving as the entrance to the railway station, includes urban facilities such as corridors, a sunken plaza, and a commercial concourse.

The Hub will serve four subway lines (Line 6, Pinggu Line, M101 Line, and S6 Line), two intercity railways (the Beijing-Tangshan Intercity Railway and the Huairou-Daxing Airport Intercity Railway), and one suburban railway (the Beijing-Harbin Railway), along with 15 bus feeder routes. It also reserves space for a cruise ship terminal.

Upon the completion of the Hub, passengers there will be able to reach the Beijing Capital International Airport in 15 minutes, the Beijing Daxing International Airport and Tangshan Station in 35 minutes, and Xiong'an New Area and Tianjin's Binhai New Area in 1 hour.

The most eye-catching above-ground landmark of the Hub is undoubtedly the "Beijing Sail" canopy, whose distinctive design incorporates the cultural elements of the Grand Canal. Beneath the canopy lies the station's light well, allowing sunlight to filter through the "sail" and illuminate the underground concourse level situated over 30 meters below ground.
