Cruises Set Sail and Boardwalk Opens - Time to Capture Beauty of Spring
The cruise tickets are sold online. Tourists can check the schedule and buy tickets through the official WeChat mini program "Beijing’s Tongzhou Grand Canal Scenic Area" or its official accounts on Douyin, Meituan, Ctrip and other platforms. Starting this year's Labor Day holiday, the night cruises on the canal will be operated regularly.
Recommended period for viewing flowers: mid-March to early May
The Grand Canal Forest Park is an indispensable sign-in resort for spring outings in Tongzhou district. Flowers such as forsythia, peaches, cloves and magnolia are planted along one side of the canal.
