After a recent renovation, the Yanqi Lake Scenic Area has been transformed into a completely free waterfront park.

Inside the park, a wooden boardwalk winds along the lakeshore, forming a continuous waterfront walking trail that offers panoramic views of the lake and its surrounding hills. Visitors can also relax on the newly landscaped terraced grass slopes by the lake and immerse themselves in the tranquility of autumn. 

On the east side of the lake, an expansive lawn provides a perfect outdoor space, where a wide range of cultural and sports activities will be held in the future, offering visitors a fresh and vibrant lakeside experience.
