The National Day holiday is a great time to feel the exhilaration of a sports event. Two world-class tournaments are underway in Beijing! Let's take a closer look at the action-packed events lined up for you.

WTT China Smash 2026

The WTT China Smash 2026 kicked off at Shougang Park in Shijingshan yesterday (October 1) and will run until October 11. This year's event promises an elevated experience for spectators, with venue facilities upgraded and three distinctive viewing areas designed to suit different preferences.

The main venue of this year's event, the Infinity Arena (八极场), has undergone significant upgrades. The 3D Mapping projection technology is adopted for the first time, which enhances the spectator experience.

Hall No. 2 (Shougang Park Esports Center/首钢园电竞中心) is an important venue for qualifying rounds and main draw events. With multiple tables hosting simultaneous matches, spectators can watch exciting duels up close. This year, the venue also features a huge viewing screen, ensuring a more dynamic audiovisual experience.

Smash Park (大满贯公园) is a newly upgraded outdoor area, ideal for family outings, photo-taking, and fan gatherings. The supporting facilities of the spectacular Big Air Shougang are open to the public for the first time, creating for fans an exclusive photo-taking spot with the big air venue as the backdrop. Spectators with same-day event tickets can enter the park free of charge. Giant screens in the venue broadcast live matches. In addition, fans can shop at a creative bazaar and join interactive activities.

Spectators in the Chinese mainland can purchase tickets after registering with real-name information through the app or WeChat mini-program of Damai (大麦), where options for official hospitality products are also available. Overseas spectators can use MAISEAT's official website or app to buy tickets.

2026 China Open

This tennis tournament kicked off at the National Tennis Center on September 28 and will run until October 11. The main event spans the entire National Day holiday. The men's singles champion will be decided on October 6, and the women's singles final will take place on October 11. You can purchase tickets through the "China Open Ticketing" (中网票务) mini-program.

The China Open Carnival (中网嘉年华) was launched at the same time, bringing a diverse array of artistic and cultural activities. It offers different highlights every day, allowing you to enjoy an invigorating art carnival throughout the holiday. 

There are special spectator areas equipped with lightweight sunshades and ambient lighting around the West Square (西广场) and Lotus Court (莲花球场). The Central Avenue (中央大道) has been transformed into a "time corridor", where fans can review memorable moments from 20 past editions of the China Open.

The number of SKUs for peripheral products exceeds 600, covering trendy toys, creative souvenirs, apparel and accessories, and other categories. You can browse and purchase items at either the all-category themed store at the West Square or the 500-square-meter store on the east side of Capital Group Diamond Court (首创钻石球场).
