The UIPM 2026 Obstacle World Championships take place at Universal CityWalk Beijing from September 2 to 6. This year's events are hosted by the International Modern Pentathlon Union (UIPM), jointly organized by the Cycling and Fencing Administrative Center under the General Administration of Sport of China, the National Olympic Sports Center, the Chinese Modern Pentathlon Association and the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Sports, and run exclusively by BTG Sports of Beijing Tourism Group.

Admission is free to the public. With the weekend approaching, here's everything you need to know to catch the action!

15:00 - 100m Age Groups Finals

20:00 - 100m Elite Finals

September 6 (Sun.)

10:00 - 3km Team Races

15:00 - 4×100m Relay Elite Finals

17:00 - 4×100m Relay Age Groups Finals

Where to Watch

100m Finals: The public viewing area is near Universal CityWalk Cinema. Spectators should follow the instructions from on-site staff.

3km Team Races: The competition area will be closed to the public. Spectators can follow the race via the live broadcast.

Note: Temperatures are expected to be relatively high over the weekend, so spectators are advised to stay hydrated and take appropriate precautions against the heat.

Transportation Guide

By Subway:

Take Batong Line or Line 7 to Universal Resort Station and use Exit B. Follow the directional signs, pass through security and proceed to the venue.

By Car (including ride-hailing and taxis):

Set the destination to "Universal Beijing Resort's Private Car/Ride-hailing/Taxi Drop-off and Pick-up Area" (北京环球度假区私家车网约车出租车上落客区) on your navigation app. Follow the on-site signs to pass through security and arrive at the venue.

Parking for Private Cars:

Set the destination to "Universal Beijing Resort's Parking Garage" (北京环球度假区停车楼) and park your vehicle there. Follow the on-site signs, pass through security and arrive at the venue.

Entry Requirements:

All spectators must comply with Universal Beijing Resort's entrance policies when passing through security. Please do not bring any prohibited items, such as flags, banners or irregularly shaped signage boards, as these may prevent or delay your entry.
