During the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism launched the themed promotional campaign "Enjoy Mid-Autumn, Explore Beijing" (乐享中秋 畅游北京), featuring lectures on folk customs, interactive activities based on intangible cultural heritage, moon-viewing cruises and more. Regarding the performing arts market, 951 commercial performances of 308 productions were staged, drawing around 390,000 views and generating approximately 170 million yuan in box office revenue.
Suburban micro-getaways involving autumn scenery, harvest celebrations and local culinary charm linked seasonal landscapes with distinctive rural experiences, making them popular choices for holiday outings. Events including the Mid-Autumn-themed "Moon-Gazing at Juyong - Fun Tour" (居庸望月·趣游园) and the Mutianyu Great Wall's International Chestnut Harvest Festival were held, offering residents and visitors a taste of autumn in Beijing's suburbs.
