On September 2, the Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics announced that the global downloads of its open-source dataset RoboMIND have exceeded 20,000,000, with the number doubling within one month.
At the Embodied Artificial Intelligence Robot Data and Training Base of the Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics, a training space of nearly 6,000 square meters houses more than 40 zones with simulated real-life environments. Data collectors wear specialized equipment to repeatedly perform various practical tasks across different scenarios.
At present, the data base has built a scenario matrix covering household life, industrial production, commercial services and other fields. It keeps expanding its task library and motion sample library, with a long-term goal of generating 1 million hours of high-quality interactive data for humanoid robots.
Supported by the ongoing development of its humanoid robot data base, Beijing is systematically consolidating the underlying data foundation for the humanoid robot industry. It is gradually forming a complete data loop covering data collection, annotation, training, evaluation, deployment and scenario-based data feedback.
