Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (BDA), also known as Beijing E-Town, has completed the city's first token factory — the Beijing Yihao Token Factory, marking a major step toward integrating energy infrastructure, semiconductor chips, datasets and large artificial intelligence models. The facility's daily production capacity has already surpassed 1.4 trillion tokens, with a long-term goal of reaching 10 trillion tokens per day. In terms of efficiency, half of all processing tasks are completed and delivered within six seconds, and 90 percent of tasks boast a response time of under ten seconds, with performance fluctuations strictly controlled within a 20 percent margin.
The BDA is currently planning a token distribution and scheduling hub, a super gateway capable of unifying access across artificial intelligence models, modalities and computing platforms, enabling one-time integration with platform-wide resource access. Additionally, Beijing's first OPC (One Person Company) community, the "MoShu OPC Community" (模数OPC社区), has officially been built and put into operation in E-Town. Phase I of the community has reached full occupancy, and the construction of Phase II is also underway. The hub spans a diverse range of sectors, including AI-generated film and television production, intelligent hardware and AI agent development. The BDA has also rolled out specialized policies, such as the "AI 20 Policies" (AI 20条), allocating 100 million yuan annually for computing power vouchers, model vouchers and data vouchers, respectively. To date, the cumulative amount awarded to enterprises has already surpassed 126 million yuan.
Up to now, the BDA is home to over 600 core artificial intelligence enterprises, with the industry's total output exceeding 80 billion yuan.
