The 2026 "Global New IoT" Cross-Border E-commerce Conference was recently held in the Beijing Daxing International Airport Economic Zone. At the conference, 21 new policies to support the high-quality development of the Beijing Daxing International Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone were unveiled for the first time. An innovative customs clearance mechanism marked by "appointment-based inspection" and "immediate inspection upon arrival" was introduced, which will significantly improve the customs clearance efficiency of cross-border/boundary e-commerce goods, and build the zone into a core cross-border/boundary e-commerce cluster in northern China.

The Several Measures for Supporting High-Quality Development of Beijing Daxing International Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone was officially released, encompassing 21 specific measures across four areas: the "bonded+" industries, integrated supervision of the zone and the airport, industrial supporting services and facilities, and institutional innovation. Under the new mechanism, consumers who place orders for overseas goods before 11:00 can get their parcels delivered by 23:00 the same day. Cross-border/boundary e-commerce enterprises can make appointments for customs inspection, thereby enabling immediate inspection upon cargo's arrival and greatly reducing clearance times.
