The 2026 Beijing Inbound Tourism Development Conference is scheduled to run in Beijing from June 1 to 6, attended by the representatives of more than 300 leading inbound travel agents from over 40 countries and regions including Russia, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, Singapore and Malaysia. They came to Beijing for a five-day program of in-depth field visits and business negotiations, exploring new prospects for collaboration in the cultural and tourism sectors.

Focusing on overseas tourists' growing demand for trips that are more youth-oriented, in-depth, and experience-based, this conference takes "Becoming Chinese" as its core concept. The list of "Beijing's New Discoveries: Ten New Inbound Tourism Experience Scenarios" (北京新发现·十大入境旅游体验新场景) was launched on-site, delivering premium travel plans for global visitors to fully discover the charm of Beijing as a famous cultural hub and a tourist destination, and showcasing the unique appeal of the integration of new China-chic elements and cultural and tourism technologies.

Through collaboration with leading overseas online travel agencies (OTAs) including Booking.com, TripAdvisor, Expedia, and Klook, for the first time, the market-demand-oriented "Must-Taste List" and "Must-Buy List" for Beijing's inbound tourism were unveiled through innovative AI-generated videos, providing tourists with authoritative and practical travel references.

Field trips are arranged from June 3 to 4 for overseas travel agents through eight premium field inspection routes, covering multiple districts of Beijing and fully demonstrating the vitality of the city where ancient heritage meets modern development. The conference pioneers a "Mobile Workshop" model that integrates business negotiations into on-site experiences, enabling overseas participants to conduct business matchmaking in immersive settings, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of exchanges.

The corporate trade fair will officially open on the afternoon of June 5. This year's conference pioneers a hybrid model combining "online pre-matchmaking" and "in-depth offline negotiations", with a platform developed for making appointments for matchmaking sessions. So far, over 3,000 precise matches have been realized between 150 Chinese enterprises and more than 300 overseas travel agents.
