The 2026 Forbes China AI Tech Enterprise Top 50 Selection has just been released, with Beijing leading the way with 21 of its companies making the cut. China is building a globally competitive AI innovation ecosystem driven by three forces: policy guidance, technological breakthroughs, and industrial integration.

Companies from Beijing on the list include Volcano Engine and Kimi, covering areas such as large models, AI chips, and enterprise AI. ZKJ TECH, based on its self-developed Dezhu large model platform, has created enterprise AI agents and digital workforce solutions that work on five key areas, and its overseas business covers more than 180 countries and regions.

In 2025, China had over 4,800 AI enterprises, and the core AI industry scale exceeded 680 billion yuan. Beijing is now home to more than 2,500 AI enterprises. And the city has 225 registered large models, accounting for about 30 percent of the national total.
