Few might have heard of the Yongyin Canal Waterfront Green Corridor (永引渠滨水绿廊). With fewer crowds and breathtaking scenery, it seems to soothe every wearied mind and slow down the passage of time.

Now, the canal transforms into a living canvas of spring colour. Pink and white wild peach blossoms intertwine on both river banks, with drooping branches brushing the water surface and contrasting beautifully against the blue sky. Every snapshot taken here is a cinematic masterpiece. Near Qingchuan Square (清川广场), several magnolia trees are now filled with purple blossoms, adding a touch of elegant Chinese beauty to the surrounding modern buildings. Forsythia flowers on the river slopes and bridgeheads are also in full, vibrant bloom, while clusters of bright yellow blossoms line the clear water, complementing the tender green willows — all brimming with the vitality of spring.

More than just a popular spot for sightseeing and photo-taking, the corridor is a social space highlighting ecological charm, leisure and cultural elements. It boasts a 4-kilometer-long waterfront trail connecting multiple landmarks including Yongyin Sports Park (永引体育公园) and Qingchuan Square. Visitors can jog along the water-side trail or sit quietly on the viewing platforms, watching the rippling blue spring water and savoring the relaxed moments of spring.
