From the "Success at a Gallop" themed installations and the "Pat-a-Horse" cartoon sculptures to horse-themed photo frames and creative "sweater trees", Lanman Hutong, Nanbanjie Hutong, and Xizhuan Hutong in the Fayuan Temple Historical and Cultural  Block have been revitalized with vibrant decorations celebrating the  Year of the Horse.

These festive additions bring a lively holiday atmosphere to the historic alleys this winter. The Chinese New Year decorations center on the horse theme while seamlessly blending historical charm with interactive experiences—creating multiple themed photo opportunities. The district has also recently welcomed several new cultural, creative, and specialty dining establishments. Upcoming events—including a Hutong Check-in  Season and intangible cultural heritage (ICH) experience activities—are also planned. 

Transportation: Take Subway Line 4 or Line 7 to Caishikou Station. The hutongs are within walking distance. (Public transportation is recommended, as  parking is limited in the area.)
