The Beijing Government Service Center officially opened its "always on-call" service hall on January 1, 2026, transforming it into a channel for public-government interaction. The hall is now an urban public space that, besides providing services, serves as a cultural and ecological hub for exhibitions and conversations.

Starting January 1, 2026, the service hall will be open to the public all year-round, except during the Spring Festival holiday (February 15 to 23, 2026), opening daily from 8:30 to 17:30. On working days, both individuals and businesses can access a full range of government services during the opening hours. To meet the needs for services during non-working hours, the hall provides appointment-based services from 8:30 to 12:30 on Saturdays. During other weekend opening hours, the hall also provides consultation, document reception, and assistance services for individuals and businesses.

The hall has also established a 24-hour self-service area, which is equipped with intelligent terminals for the most-requested exit-entry services, such as document collection and visa endorsement, as well as self-service devices for self-service medical checkups for drivers, printing and copying, and document storage and retrieval. It has optimized operation guides to provide 24/7 self services, including document storage and retrieval services.
