On December 26, Wanli (湾里), a much-anticipated international commercial and entertainment complex in the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center, will be officially opened to the public. Two special subway trains going there have been in operation on Line 1 (Batong Line) and Line 7 since December 1.
Starting December 15, Wanli will also set up themed brand zones at several subway stations, including Wangfujing, Guomao, Dawang Lu, and Huazhuang, with displays scheduled at Huazhuang Station, all being part of the promotional campaign for the complex.
The themed trains are expected to boost visibility for Wanli's opening and make it easier for people to get there by subway.
Wanli comprises three main areas: Wangfujing WellTown, Nous Land Hotel, and Tingyun Micro-Resort Town. Nous Land Hotel has already opened, while Wangfujing WellTown and Tingyun Micro-Resort Town are scheduled to open on December 26.

As Beijing's largest outlet mall, Wanli's Wangfujing WellTown will bring together culture and art, sports and entertainment, international cuisine, and family activities. It will host stores of more than 500 brands, including numerous first stores in Beijing and entire China, along with new establishments of multiple business formats. The mall will also highlight concept, showcase, and flagship stores. Currently, there are 338 leased units in the mall, with first stores making up about 51 percent of the total.
Adjacent to Wangfujing WellTown, Tingyun Town is an open-air shopping center, resembling a micro resort ringed by fountains and greenery. A list of first stores in China has been announced for the town, including the Chinese National Geography Explore Center, a Le Petit Prince-themed park, and Bad Market. The town will also introduce leisure businesses, such as live music venues, bars, and dining establishments, offering more nighttime entertainment options.
