The 2025 Tour of Mentougou International Road Cycling Race began its first stage today (October 12)!

The stage spans a total distance of 121 kilometers, starting at the Mentougou District Sports and Cultural Center. The route passes by Jietai Temple, Tanzhe Temple, Miaofeng Mountain, Dongfanghong Tunnel, and Tangu Valley before finishing at Tianzhuang Village in Mentougou. Along the way, there is one Category 1 climb, one Category 3 climb, and one sprint point.

The 2025 Tour of Mentougou International Road Cycling Race has been officially upgraded to a UCI 2.2 class event, marking its inclusion in the UCI Asia Tour. This year's event has attracted 20 top professional teams from around the world, with over a hundred international professional cyclists gathering in Mentougou. The riders will engage in fierce competition over three consecutive days of racing.

The professional category covers a total of 353.2 kilometers across three stages: a 121-kilometer mass-start road race from the Mentougou Sports and Cultural Center to Tianzhuang Village, a 117-kilometer urban criterium race in Mentougou, and a 115.2-kilometer mass-start road race in Zhaitang.

In addition to the men's professional category, the tour will also offer a variety of activities, including men's and women's open road circuit races, a community fun ride, a kids' pump track balance bike race, along with a bicycle expo and virtual cycling competitions.
