Beijing is about to launch a unified reservation platform for tourists to address issues such as cumbersome and fragmented booking systems and processes, aiming to enhance convenience and satisfaction for visitors planning their holiday travel.

Currently under development and testing, the unified platform will first cover the majority of the city's key scenic areas, museums, and municipal-level cultural heritage sites. Its core features include "a unified reservation channel" and "itinerary management". Once it is launched, visitors will be able to make real-name reservations for all the participating attractions through a single platform and view all reservation details within a single interface, effectively preventing schedule conflicts and omissions.
