This year witnesses the magical convergence of the Dragon Boat Festival (which is also a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage item) holiday and Children's Day. Multiple scenic areas in Beijing are bringing immersive joy with numerous different amusement options, to double everyone's happiness!
Langyuan Park Summer Dream Carnival presents 12 free family-friendly activities: water gun battles, interactions with adorable pets, magical bubble parties, clown parades, fish-catching adventures and more, guaranteeing children's laughter, squeals of delight, and photos that can easily fill the posts for WeChat Moments.

Daily offerings include six indoor sessions of smoky bubble rain, five mobile magic bubble shows, three sessions of outdoor dreamy bubble rain, and one bubble-themed music live performance, all with free admission. Focusing on "family-friendly + traditions", Beijing WTown launched several activities featuring the Dragon Boat Festival's customs, including DIY sessions of nearly 10 handicrafts and over 20 other activities and performances. Among the highlights are a zongzi-making competition, dragon boat tug-of-war, nights of animation music, and DIY sessions involving intangible cultural heritage items.

This year, as Children's Day coincides with the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, Beijing World Park is hosting an artistic celebration themed "Presenting You a Small Red Flower"! Experience thrilling Octonauts-themed family adventures, super cute pet interactions bursting with adorableness, along with molten-iron flower shows (of which the technique is an intangible cultural heritage item) and fireworks shows -- let's light up the midsummer night's dreams together!

On June 2, the "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" Parent-Child Music Party will feature live performances of popular family-friendly music by Poxiao Yuedui (破晓乐队; a band). Several interactive parent-child activities will also be launched, such as mini-instrument crafting, music role-playing, experiences involving intangible cultural heritage items such as gourd lanterns and floating lacquer art, and a market featuring unique cultural souvenirs.
