With the upcoming 2022 Dragon Boat Festival, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism has coordinated all online cultural and tourism resources of the municipality to release nearly 300 activities under the theme of Dragon Boat Festival Online - Performance and Sightseeing despite the impact of the pandemic. Residents are invited to join the celebration and enjoy the history, revolutionary heritage, local traditions, and innovations of the capital. 

Focusing on six major sections, namely singing, dancing, arts, operas, movies and reading in Beijing as well as the exhibition of intangible cultural heritage, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism will organize and present more than 240 online cultural activities.

A total of 34 cultural and artistic activities and shows will be conducted and played online in Beijing. For example, National Center for the Performing Arts will stream Effendi, an original children's opera on its official video channel. Mahua FunAge has organized many live broadcasts, including the Earl of Mount Wulong, before and after the Dragon Boat Festival.

For traveling, residents can take virtual trips through the Smart Tourism Platform; Also, they can follow the WeChat Official Account "Beijing Smart Tourism Map (北京智慧旅游地图)" to get more travel resources.

The themed activity of the Dragon Boat Festival Online planned by the Chinese website Visitbeijing.com will be released with several pages for traveling in Beijing, online operas, dramas and performances.

Residents can enjoy exhibitions via the "Palace Museum (故宫展览)" app or the "Exhibition" page on the official website of the Palace Museum.
