Recently, the Integrated Route Plan for 2nd Phase of Beijing Rail Transit Line 11 was released. Based on the extant route of its first phase, Line 11 will be extended eastward through four administrative districts, namely Shijingshan, Fengtai, Haidian and Xicheng, with 14 planned stations in total along the way.
The route of the second phase starts from Xinshougang (Shougang Park) Station, a terminal of the first phase, and ends at Lize Shangwuqu Station, running through several important functional hubs in the urban areas, like the South Zone of the New Shougang High-End Industry Comprehensive Service Park, the Beijingxi (Beijing West) Railway Station, and the Lize Financial Business District.
According to the map of the second phase, its 14 stations are, from west to east, Xingcai, Guoluchang Nanlu, Yamenkou Xi (W), Tiyuchang Nanjie, Yamenkou Dong (E), Lugu Dajie, Wujiacun, Xiaowayao, Qingta, Wanfeng Lu, Lianhua Qiao, Beijingxi Zhan (Beijing West Railway Station), Maliandao, and Lize Shangwuqu. Among them, five stations including Tiyuchang Nanjie, Yamenkou Dong (E), Lianhua Qiao, Beijingxi Zhan (Beijing West Railway Station) and Lize Shangwuqu are transfer stations.
