Lize Urban Terminal, a comprehensive transportation hub project, is under rapid construction. The project is located in the northern part of Lize Financial Business District in Fengtai. Besides being an urban terminal, it will also function as a hub for transfer and public services, rail transit, and supporting facilities for integrated development, among others. It has a three-dimensional layout with the city area being above ground and the station underground. It is the only planned five-line transfer hub in Beijing, where Line 14, Line 16, Daxing Airport Express, Line 11, and Lijin Line of Beijing Subway will all intersect to enable transfers.
Once completed, passengers can check in and finish check-in of their luggage here. From this terminal, they will be able to reach Beijing Daxing International Airport in 24 minutes via Daxing Airport Express, and then travel to Xiong'an New Area in about 30 minutes via the Beijing-Xiong'an Expressway. Notably, this urban terminal will be equipped with an "early arrival" luggage check-in system. Passengers can check in their luggage one day before boarding their flights. On the days of departures, the luggage will be transported to the airport via Daxing International Airport, timed to their flights, making their trips easier. Additionally, three high-speed railway stations - Beijing Fengtai, Beijingnan (Beijing South), and Beijingxi (Beijing West) - are located near the terminal, enabling quick transfers between high-speed rail and air transportation.
It's reported that the project's underground main structure is scheduled to be completed by the end of this year.
