The 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) will take place from September 12 to 16 at the China National Convention Center and Shougang Park. Check out the visitors' guide below.
Highlights
This year's CIFTIS emphasizes new quality productive forces and "innovative and specialized" exhibitions and displays. Visitors can put on VR headsets to explore Dunhuang virtually, follow AI-based content to practice Baduanjin (a form of qigong) to stay healthy , discover the latest technologies of the future industries, and watch performances by robots. This year's CIFTIS will host a special exhibition on telecommunications, computer & information services at Hall 2 and Hall 3 of Shougang Park.
Moreover, there will be more than 100 forums and conferences at this year's CIFTIS, and authoritative reports such as the Report on China's Development of Trade in Services will be released. For the first time, France will serve as the country of honor and will construct a distinctive national pavilion to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France. Sichuan and Hainan will become the provinces of honor for the first time and will also launch special exhibitions and themed sub-events.
How to Purchase Tickets?
Tickets can be reserved at the official website, mobile website, official WeChat account, App and mini-program of CIFTIS, and the official WeChat account of Beijing Capital Group Exhibitions and Events. To purchase or reserve tickets, please enter the reservation system, select your intended exhibition areas, book your preferred sessions, provide your name and other information necessary for verification, and submit your request for reservation or purchase.
Professional visitors can purchase daily tickets costing CNY 20 per person from September 12 to 14 or three-day passes for CNY 50 per person. Tickets for September 15 and 16 can be reserved for free. From September 12 to 16, holders of CIFTIS badges and tickets can enjoy a 20-percent discount on each ticket (limited to 500 tickets per day) for SoReal Science Fiction Paradise at the No.1 Blast Furnace of Shougang Park. All visitors shall reserve tickets at least 48 hours before their scheduled times for visits, and original copies of their valid identity documents are required for admission.
Transportation
Shougang Park:
The frequency of departures of battery-powered electric shuttles has been increased.
The East Landing Hall has been opened.
More than 20 parking lots with over 6600 parking places are now available.
China National Convention Center - Shougang Park:
Shuttle buses run every 15 minutes during peak hours to and from the two venues.
Dining
China National Convention Center: Beichenhui Shopping Center has been designated for this year's CIFTIS.
Shougang Park: Dining areas including a time-honored restaurant cluster, and several vending carts have been set up.
