It was disclosed at the forum that Shijingshan District would expedite the deep integration of the digital economy and the real economy, and launch pilot programs relevant to digital renminbi (RMB), including those about first orders and first transactions. The district will also accelerate the construction of a comprehensive pilot zone for digital RMB. Previously, Shijingshan District and PICC Payment jointly released a solution for the use of digital RMB in the auto insurance industry, taking the lead in applying digital RMB under real-name payment scenarios for insurance commercialization nationwide.
