Currently, Beijing Government Service Center accommodates 53 municipal-level approval departments and 8 municipal public utilities enterprises, processes over 2,500 government service items, and employs more than 1,100 staff members. It makes "all necessary services available" and ensures "one-stop" handling for municipal-level administrative matters according to application procedures. The convenience has left such a deep impression on many foreign journalists that they gave it their thumbs up without hesitation.
Anita Buhovski, a senior reporter of Faktor, a North Macedonia-based news website, expressed her plan to write an article about how foreigners start businesses in China. "I think our people will be very interested," she said.
Pavleta Davidova, a journalist from 24 Chasa, a Bulgarian newspaper, expressed her delight at seeing every staff member here prioritizing the citizens' wellbeing, trying to make their lives easier by enabling them to handle almost all matters in one place, such as starting a business, applying for residence and work permits.
For foreign individuals interested in tourism or investment in Beijing, it is crucial to understand relevant policies and learn about where to handle the related matters. Staff members of the Service Center introduced the new International Web Portal of Beijing, including the principles for building this website, its services and functional sections. Some journalists expressed their excitement at its convenience and serviceability, saying it would be better to discover the website earlier.
Stan-Emanuel Neacsu, an international news editor at Romania's TVR, showed a keen interest in the website content. He wanted to explore information about studying in China on the website: "My son was in China and he likes China very much. Maybe he wants to study in China. The institution looks so open and it looks like everything can be resolved here."
