On June 26, the Award Ceremony of the 3rd 100 Reasons to Love Beijing Short Video Competition was held at CP Center in the Central Business District (CBD) of Beijing. The competition, hosted by the Information Office of Beijing Municipality and organized by the News Information Center of Xinhua News Agency, received support from several news platforms including Xinhuanet, Weibo, and Sina News. The competition aimed to inspire individuals from all corners of the globe to share their personal experiences about Beijing through short videos or interesting phrases. 

Xu Hejian, Deputy Director General of the Publicity Department of the CPC Beijing Municipal Committee and Director of the Information Office of Beijing Municipality, mentioned in his speech that the competition, as a key cultural event initiated by the Information Office of Beijing Municipality, has been successfully held twice, participated by foreign friends representing more than 100 countries and regions worldwide. In total, 5,000 entries have been collected so far.

After the careful evaluation of over 1,000 entries for the current session, a panel of judges has selected the most outstanding works in various categories, presenting one Organizing Committee Award, two Grand Prizes, three First Prizes, nine Second Prizes, and 15 Third Prizes, while several individual awards have also been granted to recognize the contributions made by several other participants.

The top 100 works selected for this competition will be showcased across multiple platforms and in various languages, to help the city capture the hearts of a wider audience.
