On September 27, 2024, the filming crews from the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Saudi Arabia, which participate in the production of this year's "Charming Beijing" TV series, an overseas communication project, visited Shougang Park and its No. 1 Blast Furnace - SoReal Science Fiction Paradise, to experience firsthand how this century-old industrial heritage site has evolved into a new landmark of urban revitalization.

"Before coming here, it was really hard to imagine that an obsolete factory could be transformed into a diversified high-tech industrial park, which showcases the wisdom of the Chinese people," said Dafalla Adam Hussein Eldoma, a cameraman and editor from Al Arabiya. Before entering SoReal Science Fiction Paradise, the crew members were already attracted by the preserved exterior of the blast furnaces in Shougang Park, and stopped to take pictures.
Shougang Park, as one of the epitomes of China's modern industrial development, has left a large number of industrial relics after more than 100 years. These industrial relics have been revitalized and transformed and are now iconic landmarks in Beijing. As a fully immersive space exploration-themed science fiction complex, the No. 1 Blast Furnace - SoReal Science Fiction Paradise extensively incorporates technologies such as 5G, edge computing, AR, VR, and hologram into the furnace, empowering this furnace with new values through the power of innovation.

Members of the two countries' filming crews visited various attractions in the amusement park, and immersed themselves in the Future Science and Technology Park, themed show areas, art exhibitions, etc. "China attaches great importance to sustainable development. The multiple functions and activities undertaken by Shougang Park now demonstrate the government's efforts for urban renewal. The increasingly diversified urban functions in Beijing vividly mirror China's achievements in urban planning," exclaimed Mohammed Abdulkareem Kamal Badawi, a presenter from Abu Dhabi TV after visiting SoReal Science Fiction Paradise.
