On the morning of December 11, the Beijing E-Town Comprehensive Bonded Zone, China's first such zone dedicated to fostering new quality productive forces, officially started operations.
The zone's first shipment consisted of imported valve equipment valued at 700,000 US dollars. The entire clearance process, beginning with the arrival of the goods at the gate, took only seconds. Leveraging foundational data systems from the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area, such as those for autonomous driving and smart city management, the bonded zone ensured full transparency and visibility throughout the entire process from port entry to warehouse placement, enabling seamless connectivity between logistics operations inside and outside the zone.
On the same day, the Several Measures of Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area on Accelerating Construction of Comprehensive Bonded Zone for New Quality Productive Forces was released. This covers areas such as financial support, service guidance, and institutional innovation, with individual projects each eligible for up to 50 million yuan in cumulative funding.
