Beijing has released its Implementation Plan for Innovative Development of "5G + Industrial Internet" (2025–2027). The plan sets clear targets: by 2027, the city will establish over 50 dedicated 5G industrial private networks, build at least 20 5G-powered factories, and cultivate more than 50 comprehensive and sector-specific providers of 5G application solutions.

To achieve these goals, Beijing will expedite the development of "5G + Industrial Internet" infrastructure. Building on the city's existing 5G network coverage, the city will focus on optimizing 5G networks, and deploying industrial 5G private networks and 5G-A networks in key manufacturing hubs and enterprise clusters.
