On June 23, the launching ceremony for the Beijing Energy Conservation Promotion Week was held at the New Actuation Fintech Center in Xicheng District. At the launching ceremony, the Beijing (Xicheng) Green Electricity Finance Comprehensive Service Station was officially inaugurated, which is the first of its kind established in Beijing.

Green electricity, as public information indicates, refers to electricity produced with zero (or almost zero) carbon emissions, mainly generated by renewable energy sources such as solar energy and wind energy. The promotion of green electricity infrastructure is crucial for accelerating energy transformation and achieving carbon peaking and carbon neutrality.

It was learned that this service station established on a trial basis in Xicheng represents a significant move aimed at further optimizing the business environment of Beijing's green electricity sector. The service station is expected to foster a demonstrative and leading effect for green electricity usage among central state organs, central state-owned enterprises, and the headquarters of financial institutions within the district. By establishing the service station in the district's government service center, with customer managers working at the station part-time to provide remote support for complex issues through professional institutional networks, the human resource and capital costs for all parties involved can be lowered while the operational quality and efficiency can be improved. Furthermore, the service station also seeks to achieve "one-stop" service outcomes by providing integrated account opening services (GEC/Green Energy Certificate, BEA/Beijing Emission Allowance, and CCER/China Certified Emission Reduction), as well as supporting functions for the management of financial products and energy performance contracting.
