The Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau[Jessie1]  has issued a notice on the declaration of rewardable projects for promoting the development of Beijing's convention and exhibition industry in 2025. According to the notice, entities introducing international professional exhibitions and holding new high-quality conventions and exhibitions in Beijing this year can receive rewards of up to CNY 1,000,000.

The rewardable projects include the projects for the introduction of international professional exhibitions, the launch of new high-quality exhibitions in Beijing, and the expansion and enhancement of the extant high-quality exhibitions. Specifically, for a large-scale exhibition with international influence introduced from overseas to Beijing in 2025, if its exhibition area is no less than 10,000 square meters, and the proportion of the rented area by international exhibitors reaches 20 percent or above, the entity in charge of the project will be rewarded up to CNY 1,000,000. For any newly-held exhibition in 2025 or any exhibition resumed after not being held in Beijing for the past five years, if its exhibition area is no less than 10,000 square meters, the entity in charge of the project will be rewarded CNY 500,000, with an additional CNY 300,000 for every 10,000 square meters added. Either way, the maximum amount will be no more than CNY 1,000,000.

In addition, for any exhibition held in Beijing in 2025, if the exhibition area is increased compared with that of the previous session (if the exhibition is held twice or more in a year, the area shall be compared with that of the session held in the same period of the previous year), the entity in charge will be rewarded CNY 200,000 for every 5,000 square meters added for the current exhibition. In this case, the maximum reward will be no more than CNY 800,000.
