Beijing Future Science City has achieved several milestones in 2024. Its advanced energy industry generated over CNY 240 billion in revenue and its healthcare sector surpassed the CNY 100-billion mark for the first time. The area ranked among China's top three sci-tech hubs, and now boasts 881 large-scale enterprises.

While consolidating its strengths in advanced energy and healthcare industries, Beijing Future Science City is actively developing frontier fields like brain-computer interface (BCI) technology, a hotspot arena for contention over recent years both at home and abroad. It is home to the Beijing Institute for Brain and Cognitive Sciences and eight specialized BCI enterprises, forming a fledgling industrial cluster.
