Administrative Regulations and Department Rules to Be Adjusted in Beijing

The State Council approved temporary adjustment of several administrative regulations and department rules in Beijing, according to an official reply to the Beijing municipal government, the Ministry of Commerce, and the Ministry of Justice on January 10.

According to the reply, administrative rules on Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools, entertainment venues and commercial performance, plus the 2024 special management measures for foreign investment access (negative list), will be adjusted.

The State Council urged related departments and the Beijing municipal government to implement the adjustments, and establish a management system that was in line with the plan for establishing demonstration zones to advance opening-up in the service sector.
