Recently, the Business and Finance Bureau of Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town), together with the Foreign-Invested Enterprise Branch of the Enterprise Association of Beijing E-Town, hosted the "Exploring Resources for Foreign Enterprises to Seek Common Growth" exchange event. At the event, more than 40 foreign-invested enterprises were invited to the Huilongsen Science and Technology Park to discuss path for their robust and healthy development in Beijing E-Town.

At the event, the relevant authorities carefully interpreted Beijing's preferential policies for foreign-invested enterprises, such as the measures to support the development of their R&D centers in Beijing, policies on entry and permanent residence for foreign personnel, and policies on additional deduction of their R&D expenses. Such comprehensive information on various policies provided participating companies with all-round, multi-level support. In addition, relevant personnel from Huilongsen Science and Technology Park also shared views on how to help foreign enterprises better understand policies under the topic of "building an international business platform and providing targeted services to enterprises."

Beijing E-Town has always been committed to providing a top-grade business environment and comprehensive service support for foreign enterprises. Last year, it established a "2+X" policy system in support of foreign-invested enterprises to attract enterprises and fuel their development with high-quality services. As of now, Beijing E-Town has attracted over 1,300 foreign-invested enterprises from 62 countries and regions, and a total of 104 Fortune 500 companies have invested in 159 projects in the area, with foreign-invested enterprises contributing 69 percent of its total industrial output and nearly 50 percent of tax revenue. In the first half of this year, Beijing E-Town actually utilized USD 294 million of foreign investment, an increase of 16.1 percent year-on-year. Imports and exports reached CNY 88.52 billion, up 7.8 percent year-on-year.
