Recently, the inauguration ceremony of the Regional Headquarters of MNC in Beijing for Varian China and the unveiling ceremony of the Top 100 Enterprises in Beijing E-Town were held at Varian Medical Systems's Beijing headquarters, marking another milestone in Varian Medical Systems' investment in China and a new stage in the company's strategic layout of its business in Beijing.

Varian Medical Systems has established a global innovation center in Beijing E-Town to drive major breakthroughs in R&D and innovation in China, and has been identified as a foreign-funded R&D center in Beijing. In recent years, through continuous increases in investment and production, and high-quality development, Varian Medical Systems's factory in China has become the company's R&D and production base with the most complete product lines in the world, with 82 percent of its products exported to nearly 90 countries or regions around the world, allowing the "Intelligent Manufacturing in Beijing" to serve the world. Meanwhile, Varian Medical Systems continues to enhance the headquarters functions and business group structure of the Beijing base, further developing the headquarters of Varian Greater China.

Beijing E-Town has become an international hub for global innovation factors. Over the past 30 years since the establishment of the area, more than 1,200 foreign-funded enterprises from more than 60 countries and regions have chosen to settle there, with all having witnessed and contributed to the area's opening-up and development. As one of the main platforms for Beijing to build an international center for science and technology innovation, Beijing E-Town stands as a bearer for the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements and a demonstration zone for future industrial innovation, especially in the fields of biomedicine and comprehensive health, which are the earliest developed ones having witnessed rapid development in recent years. Beijing E-Town has already gathered more than 4,200 enterprises from the two industries, whose total industrial output value accounts for half of the city, standing as a unique advantage for the development of the pharmaceutical industry in Beijing.
