In the first quarter of this year, Shunyi District saw a continued rise in the proportion of its automotive industry and the comprehensive revitalization of its aerospace industry. The district achieved a total industrial output value of CNY 49.59 billion, indicating a growth rate of 24.1 percent, which ranked first across the city.

Shunyi is a critical industrial hub in Beijing. The district's industrial economy has shown continuous improvement and injected powerful momentum into the regional economic development. In the first quarter of this year, the total industrial output value reached nearly CNY 50 billion. It is reported that the district will continue to focus on supporting three major technology-driven innovative industries including those of intelligent new energy vehicles, third-generation semiconductors, and aerospace, as well as three strategic emerging industries, namely the new-generation information technology, intelligent equipment, and medicine and healthcare industries, striving to achieve effective qualitative improvements and reasonable quantitative growth.
