On October 29, Phantom Blade Zero, a Chinese AAA wuxia action game developed and published by S-GAME, was officially released for PC and PlayStation 5.

The review embargo for Phantom Blade Zero has been lifted. According to Metacritic, an international platform aggregating game reviews from the leading critics, the PC version has an average critic score of 88, above the score of 81 previously recorded for the PC version of Black Myth: Wukong.

As Chinese game developers continue to improve their capabilities in game development, production and global distribution and leverage the differentiated appeal of themes rooted in Eastern culture, Chinese AAA games are expected to further expand their presence in the global market for high-end games.
