The 2026 E-TOWN Robot Consumer Festival officially kicked off on August 15. Over 50 types of robotic devices suitable for multiple scenarios, including education, elderly care, and household use, are ready for you to experience. Six major shopping malls have jointly rolled out consumption vouchers worth 3.5 million yuan in total, with self-driving shuttle buses taking you on industry- and technology-themed study tours through three routes. This August, come to Beijing E-Town and have a glimpse of your future life!

This year, the special fund dedicated to boosting consumption at the festival has been increased from 15 million to 18 million yuan, with major resources channeled toward the AI and embodied intelligence sectors. The voucher collection process has been greatly simplified. Users can collect vouchers by completing verification by using their mobile phone numbers through a few taps on their phones via the participating malls' WeChat mini-programs.

This year's festival is in partnership with the 2026 World Robot Conference. Building on the last year's edition, it features a newly added 9,600-square-meter block for robot-related shopping, with nearly 100 booths covering four themes: brand display, tech-cultural products, specialty dining, and interactive entertainment. Over 50 types of robotic devices for scenarios including education, elderly care, and household use are on display and available for visitors to experience. The festival pioneers a consumption model allowing visitors to "see the future indoors and buy the present outdoors". Special activities such as an AR-powered stamp-collecting campaign are also underway, with unique souvenirs on sale.
Six major shopping malls, namely Longfor Paradise Walk Beijing E-Town, BHG Mall (E-Town Branch), Han's Plaza, Longyue City, UpTown, and UniFun Yinghai, have adopted their own operating modes. Nearly 600 merchants have launched consumer-friendly promotional campaigns, which are coupled with mall-specific consumer vouchers of 3.5 million yuan in value, to form a coordinated consumption mechanism where the main event venue draws foot traffic, which is converted into sales at malls.
This year also sees the debut of three new industry- and technology-themed study tour routes at the event, which are themed respectively on AI discovery, the dreams of space exploration, and a future marked by smart driving. The routes connect local industrial and cultural tourism destinations such as Hsinghai Piano, the Beijing Rocket Street, Nanhaizi Park's Milu Deer Garden, and BAIC ArcFox. Visitors can explore all of them by one self-driving minibus.
Meanwhile, JD.com has launched an exclusive web page on its platforms for the festival, which features over 600 robot-related products, supplemented by online-exclusive subsidies and activities such as product debuts, special promotions, and livestream sessions. The voucher subsidies cover emerging smart hardware categories including AI sensing devices, AI mini-PCs, and heat press machines — offering consumers more choices of AI-powered products.
