On January 13, the Chinese game "Nizhan: Future" made its debut, accompanied by a music festival themed around the game at the No.3 Blast Furnace in Shougang Park, Shijingshan District. This music festival served as the opening event of the 2026 Jingxi Esports Festival, kicking off a year-long series of iconic sub-events.
The music festival deeply integrated games and stage performances, with "sci-fi shooting" as its core. Through high-tech stagecraft and scene restoration, it created an immersive experience for the audience.
Throughout 2026, the Jingxi Esports Festival will host a diverse lineup of events, including the Beijing leg of the Valorant Champions Tour (无畏契约巡回赛北京站), the China Gaming Festival (全民游戏节), the G-Fusion Game Festival (核聚变游戏嘉年华), and the Esports Culture Festival (电竞文化节). These sub-vents are designed to deepen the "Esports+" integration, expand the festival's influence, and strengthen its role as a cultural and industrial magnet.
In recent years, Shijingshan District has been committed to building itself into a hub for the gaming and esports industry. So far, the district is home to 128 companies across the industry chain, covering game development, publishing, event operations, live streaming, and talent agencies, forming a vibrant and well-rounded industrial ecosystem.
