The 2025 World Robot Conference will be held from August 8 to 12 at Beiren Etrong International Exhibition and Convention Center in Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area (Beijing E-Town). On August 2, Beijing E-Town launched E-Town Robot Consumption Festival, the world's first festival themed on robot consumption.

The festival is taking place simultaneously at Beiren Etrong International Exhibition and Convention Center, the World of Robots, and six major commercial hubs in Beijing E-Town. During the event, which will run until August 17, Beijing E-Town will issue exclusive consumer coupons.

The event features four major consumption scenarios. The world's first embodied AI robot 4S store (hereinafter referred to as the "4S store") targets corporate users, providing over 50 products across seven categories including healthcare, industrial applications, companionship, and biomimicry. On the first floor of the 4S store, visitors can get up close with multifunctional robots such as Tiangong 2.0 from X-Humanoid (Beijing Innovation Center of Humanoid Robotics), Walker S from UBTECH Robotics, and R1 Pro from GALAXEA. The second-floor Futuristic Interaction Zone allows visitors to compete alongside robots like Unitree G1 and Booster T1, or challenge a Go-playing robot. The third-floor Smart Maintenance Zone showcases one-stop robotic services, encompassing component replacement, diagnostics, and remote operation and maintenance.

The Robot Restaurant is an avant-garde robot-themed restaurant, where a diverse range of intelligent service robots, such as chess-playing robots, bartender robots, and recycling robots, are in action. Customers can try the various delicacies including pancakes, skewers, and coffee prepared by robots. 

Consumption coupons will be distributed throughout the event. Visitors can collect and use these coupons on-site to purchase robotic products and distinctive cultural merchandise, and to sample robot-prepared foods. They can also buy specialty item with the same discounts at the 4S store or the World of Robots. For online purchases via JD.com, coupons are available through the platform's "E-Town Robot Consumption Festival" section. Notably, individual consumers may receive subsidies of up to RMB 1,500 for robotic purchases, while corporate buyers may receive up to RMB 250,000.
