On August 8, the Robot Restaurant (机器人焰究所) officially opened to the public as the first of its kind in Beijing. Highlighting human-robot interaction, smart navigation and dining services, this restaurant has employed a diverse array of robots to offer guests a "high-tech journey for the taste buds".

Located next to the "Robot World" in the Beijing Economic-Technological Development Zone, the restaurant currently has over 20 advanced-level models of robotics products. After entering the restaurant, customers are immediately immersed in a sci-fi ambiance created by holograms and mesmerizing light effects, with robots appearing around every corner.

In the dining area, a band composed of five robot musicians performs live music. While waiting for meals, customers can interact with dinosaur robots and watch food-delivery robots and waste-collecting robots bustling around.

Heading further into the restaurant, the humanoid robots "Su Shi" and "Li Bai" (which are based on the names of two famous Chinese poets) are stationed in a space for interaction, where they engage in a playful debate on culinary topics, from the secrets of Dongpo pork to unconventional ways to enjoy roast chickens. Nearby, a robotic version of Isaac Newton is explaining the science principles behind cooking techniques and demonstrating concepts like electromagnetism and the law of conservation of energy in simple ways.

The inventively designed menu, or "main control feeding system", offers dishes such as the "Alpha|a" and the "Beta|Dual-Core Smart Chicken Burger Component", aka beef burger and chicken sandwich.
