On July 14, 2024, Beijing Shi Yuan Gui He International Tourism Resort launched "Nights in Expo Park" event for the summer vacation. The event features night scenery, night jogs, night markets, and accommodation options, and will run through August 31 (17:30-21:30 every evening).

During the "Nights in Expo Park", there will be cycling activities every Friday evening and rainbow run activities every weekend. There is also "Menghua Night Market" offering a variety of snacks. The park also offers an open-air cinema experience by screening classic Chinese animated films such as "Nezha Conquers the Dragon King" (哪吒闹海) and "The Monkey King" (大闹天宫) from 20:00 to 22:00 every evening.

Concerts are also part of the highlights of the event. The weekend music festival, themed "Waking Up Slowly", is set to take place from August 3 to 4 and August 10 to 11, with four sessions in total, featuring a variety of music stages that are designed to captivate visitors in a world of music.

An immersive scene drama "Menghua: the Great Wall" (梦华·长城) based on the Great Wall culture will be staged at night during the event. With the 2,000-year history of the Great Wall as its main storyline, by integrating various art forms such as music, dance, costumes, poetry, and folk customs, this drama showcases the unique cultural characteristics of the Great Wall.
