With the approval from the State Council of the People's Republic of China, the 2023 ZGC Forum will be held in Beijing from May 25 to 30. The ZGC Forum this year will be co-organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the China Association for Science and Technology, and the People's Government of Beijing Municipality. Under the theme of "Open Cooperation for a Shared Future", the forum will consist of six sections including a conference, a section for technology transactions, an exhibition, a section for announcing relevant achievements, a new session of ZGC Frontier Technology Innovation Competition, and other supporting sub-events. A series of regular activities other than the main part of the forum will also be organized throughout the year.

The ZGC Forum this year aims to build a state-level platform for exchanges and cooperation regarding global scientific and technological innovation. It will invite an extensive list of top global scientists and organizations as well as world-renowned innovation and entrepreneurship entities to focus on cutting-edge science and hot topics, establishing a platform for deeper exchanges and mutually beneficial cooperation. Through this, new contributions can be made towards promoting globalized scientific and technological innovation, as well as building a community with a shared future for mankind.
