On February 10, the 18th Maizidian Subdistrict Chinese and Foreign Residents' New Year Celebration and Maijia Goods Fair was held at Weibo IN Interdimensional Gravitational Zone.

At the event, Chinese and foreign residents came together to paint the eyes of dancing dragons, make jiaozi (dumplings), and watch cultural and artistic performances for celebrating the Spring Festival. Featured goods, such as local handicrafts and creative souvenirs, were pooled in Maijia Goods Fair, attracting people to browse and purchase. In the interactive experience zone, people could take photos while wearing hanfu (traditional clothing of the Han ethnic group), make badges with the assistance of AI, and write the character "Fu" (福, which can mean "good luck" and "fortune") on posters. In addition, a lively robot dance show added a modern, entertaining touch.

Mikail, from Türkiye, said, "I have been working in Beijing for years. Now, my son studies in Beijing. I think it means a lot for me to participate in this kind of event and experience Chinese traditional culture with my son. This can also help him better integrate into the life here."
