Moving on, Beijing will actively participate in WCCF's multilateral international exchanges, such as the World Cities Culture Summit and the Leadership Exchange Programme, to present and promote its achievements in the fields of cultural inheritance, innovative development, and cultural heritage preservation. The capital aims to expand international cooperation and increase its global influence through these efforts.
WCCF is a multilateral cooperation network initiated by London, the United Kingdom, in 2012. It is committed to facilitating cultural exchanges and cooperation among cities around the world, fostering their cultural prosperity, stimulating scientific and technological innovation, and promoting sustainable development of cities. More than 40 cities from six continents, including Paris, New York, San Francisco, Milan, Tokyo, Melbourne, Rio de Janeiro and Dubai, have joined the Forum. Cities in China such as Chengdu, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Taipei are also part of the network.
