Opening ceremony and main forum of 2024 Beijing Culture Forum

From September 19 to 21, the 2024 Beijing Culture Forum was held in Beijing, with the permanent theme of "Inheritance, Creativity, Mutual Learning", and the annual theme of "Enhance Cultural Exchanges for Common Progress".

In addition to the six parallel forums, the 2024 Beijing Culture Forum featured 32 professional salons and the Cultural Industry Investor Conference, showcasing the new looks and new breakthroughs made possible by the forum.

Consisting of achievement release, project signing, and on-site promotion, the Cultural Industry Investor Conference vividly presented Beijing's outcomes in facilitating the commercialization of technological innovations in the cultural sector by promoting new technologies such as AI, 5G+8K, and AR/VR.

At the forum, the much-anticipated Top Ten Events in the Construction of the National Cultural Center for 2023 and the New Characteristics and New Trends: The Report on Cultural Exchanges Between China and the World (2023) were announced. Additionally, a batch of latest achievements and signed projects were unveiled, highlighting the significant impact of this Beijing-based Forum that extends its influence across the whole country and even the world.

In 2023, a total of 78 imported films were displayed in cinemas across the Chinese Mainland; visitors to and from China exceeded 190 million; "Daka China" became a brand-new global travel trend. The Report on China's Cultural Exchanges with the World reveals a positive trend where cultural exchanges between China and other countries are rapidly resuming momentum.

With the inauguration of the National Water Museum of China (China Pavilion) in Bali Island and the launch of the Ten-Province (including Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong) Animation & Game Industry Strategic Cooperation Platform, Beijing has brought vitality to China and the world by integrating diverse cultures through the platform of the Beijing Culture Forum.

Around the period of the Beijing Culture Forum, Beijing has created a warm and enthusiastic cultural atmosphere through a series of colorful events, such as the "Great Performances in Beijing" Seasonal Production, Beijing People Beneficial Cultural Consumption Season, Beijing October Literature Festival, and "The Temple of Earth and Me" Book Fair.
