From the sparkling prelude of winter to the grand finale of the year, a line-up of splendid concerts will ring across this thousand-year-old capital. This year, the city will present 51 New Year's concerts with a total of 69 performances from the Winter Solstice (December 21) to New Year's Day (January 1), inviting audiences to enjoy a festive musical feast.
The 30th Beijing New Year's Concert will be held at the Great Hall of the People on December 31, 2025, with conductor Yang Yang leading the Beijing Symphony Orchestra in a program of classic works. The National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA) will host its New Year's Chime Concert on December 31, 2025, while the Beijing Performing Arts Center's Concert Hall will also present a series of concerts for the coming year, adding a rich artistic atmosphere to the festive season.

The Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, one of Vienna's top three symphony orchestras, will bring the New Year Symphony from the World's Music Capital to the Concert Hall of NCPA. Renowned orchestras and artists such as the Bulgarian National Symphony Orchestra and pianist Evgeni Mikhailov will gather in Beijing to welcome the new year with music.

At Chang'an Grand Theater, Jingju Theater Company of Beijing will present the Golden Snake Gathers Blessings, Steed Welcomes Spring–2026 Traditional Chinese Opera New Year's Gala (金蛇纳福 骏马迎春––2026戏曲跨年联欢会), which will feature top performers from five major genres, including Peking Opera, Kunqu Opera, Ping Opera and other traditional forms. The Beijing Chinese Orchestra's Dragon-Horse Strings and Songs: Magnificent Chapter (龙马弦歌・盛世华章) New Year's Concert will grace the stage with classic folk music pieces, such as Spring Festival Overture (春节序曲) and Joyful Reunion (喜相逢) to convey New Year blessings.

A variety of parent-child and children's themed concerts will light up the stages across the city. The 4th Beijing Children's New Year's Concert will be held at the Great Hall of the People in 2026, offering a festive cultural feast for families in Beijing. The One Voice Children's Choir from the United States will kick off its China tour with a new year's concert at Erqi Theater.

The Beijing Hotel's Golden Hall will host a New Year's Eve concert, with double tickets including one night's complimentary accommodation at the hotel.
