The China Telecommunications Museum is a national comprehensive museum dedicated to the telecommunications sector. It serves as a key institution for the collection, exhibition and research of China's telecommunications heritage, as well as the education concerning the heritage. The museum showcases the culture and history of China's telecommunications industry. Leveraging an assortment of modern exhibition techniques, it presents the development history of telecommunications in China through physical exhibits backed by audio, lighting and electronic means.

Over the past five years of the"Two Zones"(the Integrated National Demonstration Zone for Opening up the Services Sector and the China(Beijing)Pilot Free Trade Zone)initiative.In recent years, data transaction volumes at the Exchange have grown rapidly, with cumulative transactions reaching 2250 terabytes and an average annual growth rate exceeding 200 percent over the past three years.They are allowed to operate as wholly foreign-owned entities in piloting services such as internet access, online data processing, and transaction processing.(Source:Beijing Daily).
