Beijing Waterworks Museum

Established in 2000, the museum is aimed at helping the public understand the evolution of Beijing's tap water industry over time, the current status of Beijing's water resources as well as how tap water is produced. At present, the museum consists of four exhibition areas: the Popular Science Hall (科普馆), the History Hall (通史馆), the Seal Exhibition (印章展) and the Former Site of the Late Qing Dynasty Waterworks (清末自来水厂旧址).
